Volunteers are needed to help run the annual Nature Bowl program for 3rd-6th grade students at the Cosumnes River Preserve in Galt on Tuesday, April 21. Shifts are 745-1245 and 1215-415.

Volunteers are needed to co-judge activities. These run from nature investigations and nature relay to enviro-mercials and related game to hands-on team questions and bell ringers. The Nature Bowl serves to

advance science and conservation literacy, and engage youth in local or regional issues.

This Nature Bowl, one of 6 semi-finals in the region, is sponsored by the CA Department of Fish and Game, Sacramento Regional Parks and Save Our Sandhill Cranes, with support from the BLM and Nature Conservancy in addition to fiscal support of The Wildlife Society.
